And don't use the phrase, "cuz you can't afford a Ducati..." Even if i could afford one, I won't touch one. I like to be comfortable. BTW, my next bike is either a 2011+ ZX10R or S1000R when i am a much better rider.  Leaning towards the 10R cuz it looks better though slightly slower than the S1000R

who the duck died and mad you god....assshat?

Tool? did i offended someone? LOL! Duc riders always criticizing other bikes but when their bikes are criticized, they get all butt hurt like you..  :2funny:  i'm not even knocking on Ducati's.  Of course to me, it's more like a show bike. I can ride my R1 for 3-5 hrs straight and my ass still feel great. I bet you wouldn't last 1 hr on your 848.   And since you think i am knocking on Duc's, i'll will then.. I think ducati's are overrated. That's why Rossi and other duc riders had problems with Duc bikes in MotoGP... Rossi did better when he was on the R1 vs Duc.  Rossi is an awesome rider and absolutely horrible since moving to team Duc.. Many would agreed that he should've stuck with Yamaha..

And i bet your 848 will need a valve clearance check before i even get my R1 done....  I understand it is hard to swallow that for the price of duc's and  their reliability isn't all that great...  ::)

like i said, a Ducati is like a nice 1911 hand gun and all others are like glocks.

Damn dude.. did i sleep with your sister and not marry her or something? SRSLy....duck! OP, know any hot girls? It's obvious hot head Toua
has gotten out of line here.

personally, i think duc's are more of a show bike. Not your everyday bike.  Kind of like 1911 handguns. Nice to look at and cost a ton, but isn't as reliable as other handguns..

Owns a Yamaha .... knocks on Ducati (its typical, no?)

OP check out http://www.ducatiminneapolis.com/

Ask for Fred (I think he still works there. Hell, talk to any of the guys who greets you).  You'll probably get a better
response from them. They were VERY helpfull when I wanted to purchase a new 848.

Show them this thread...they'll probably tell you Toua's a tool for speaking out of his ass.

Should you upgrade? That decision comes down to you.

First bike? Mine was an 80' Maxim 1100 which I bought it for $1,000 from a co-worker. Rode it for about 3 years then bought a Virago 750.

...i see why you own the KING.

yuknowthat, depends on what year. I love the 99-02 R6!

BuckFuddies2, the 2003-2006 body looks sexy, and I love the undertail body exhaust system, but RR's in my area are pricey!

Anyway, i got approved for a loan..675R! $13,000 OTD sign on the doted line sir..

Two Wheel Forum / Looking to upgrade
« on: July 03, 2011, 09:36:00 PM »
Hi all I have a ex250 that i have been riding  for a while. I bought the bike with 10,XXX miles, and has around 22XXX miles. I love this bike, its easy to ride,
easy to work on (thanks ninja250.org) and starts up everyteim i hit the start button (even in -0 degree weather).

but i want either a new bike or a bigger bike, getting left behind on the straights suck. Couple weeks ago i was at my  triumph dealer and sat on a new d675r.
That bike is beautiful! Would like to check out the 848evo but duc mpls doesnt have one in stock (we can order one if you qualify or have the cash).

I was wondering should i upgrade or keep honing my elbow scrapin' skills? i dont know im just a little drunk and rambling..

What was your first bike, and when did you upgrade?

Two Wheel Forum / Re: New helmet
« on: April 10, 2011, 04:50:15 AM »
It's April, get a bike already. Anyways, as long as the helmet is DOT and Snell approved, it'll protect the same regardless of brand and price so "fit" is the most important factor. I've owned higher cost brands like Shoei  to lower cost brands like Zox and all have done its job, main difference is the price.

Maybe he is taking steps into buy a bike. The MN msf/brc course doesnt provide helmets.  When I took the course they didnt provide helmets.

Where you from, OP?

« on: February 27, 2011, 07:22:49 AM »
King, I can afford to keep the baby ninja dispite what people say about the 2fiddy.  I mean its cheap to insure, I can ride the living daylights out of it like a mad man and get
200+ miles per fill up, and its fun as heck to ride. And thats what its all about, right? Having fun (dont give a shit if my bike doesnt have that 60000RRRR look)!!!

Mate I have no plans on selling this thing anytime too soon. It's just too much fun. Aussie AND MERICANS have the same mentality too, more cc's = quicker bike.

I'll proudly say that my chicken strips are much much thinner than a lot of other riders.

I have no regrets about this little thing. I'm a much more accomplished rider for it because it's taught me to rely on cornering speed rather than just tip-toe in and power on out. I will move to a bigger bike for the road but this thing is going to hit the race track and maybe even compete if I can find a series.

Dont mean to modify your post, but this sums it up.

*short summary about a guy (and his friends)that i rode with last season....*

I rode with a guy who lives in my apartment complex (with his friends) who started on 600+cc bikes and theyre scared to go into
corners (5+mph too fast?). I'm not saying I'm Stoner or anything, but  I'm on a 250, and these guys are on supersports, and I'm going into corners fsater than these guys., but yet
they like to talk shit about how the 250 isnt a good starter bike? Go figure? But these guys are the STunAR type guys.....

Remember this is your first/starter bike, not your last. Once you've built enough skills on it and maybe even drop it a few times!?, then upgrade to a more powerful and expensive bike.

when the king speaks....list en OP!
