BS... more like, for drug.
$15/hr is a joke in NY, CA or these other high cost of living states. Let the market set the wage... If you don't make enough, go get skills that'll pay more.

Have you ever wonder why cost of living is so high in those states? It's not because of the Dems btw.

This guy, talking in and out of his ass again.
"$15 is not enough so keep the pay minimum wage at $7-$10 an hour. Hurh hurh hurh."
I do not disagree with learning new/more skills and seeking a better paying job. The argument for many is to increase the minimum wage to where it should be based off the rate of inflation across the board over the last 50-60 years.

The bullsh*t you're spewing is party line rhetoric.

Don’t you guys want to see other low income people
Go on nice vacation trip
Eat at fancy restaurants
???
To be honest
$15/hour is still low
You need at least $20

Normally I would agree with you EXCEPT the handouts have been going to the wealthy for the past decade-plus. 750B for TARP. 4.4T for COVID/CARES.

You never gone past the $15 mark so I don't know what you're crying about here.
Min wages here in San Jose is $15.25. Kids here flipping burgers and making more than what you can make in your lifetime.
They have more spending purchasing power and one thing for certain. The dollar menu at some fast food is franchise pricing, no matter where you go in america. So the guy making $7 in hicksville small town old country living is paying more than a san jose kid for that same $1 burger or taco. The online pricing to what you see over there is what I'm seeing over here will also be the same. Only differ might be the tax but the difference is not so big of a deal. The purchasing power being representative here is like night and day. Go make the most out of it to boast your purchasing power.
This is the reason why I worked in the bay and not in the valley. It will take me 10 years with annual raises to get to $20 per hour or just work in the bay on day 0 for $20 an hour. I take my bay area rates and spend that money in my hometown to help support our local economy plus my purchasing power is bigger sorta.

Capitalism for you and me
Socialism for business and corporate

If you live where the diamond and golds are then yes but if you make that diamond but live in the suburb so of speak like how you mn people are living around the central minneapolis / st. paul area then you'll be fine.
Give you an example. A 2 bedroom apartment in san jose goes for $2000 while driving 2 hours away a 2 bedroom can be had for 900.
Make money over there but live over there. All that driving sucks but it is a way of life for Millions of commuter workers here in california. It is a way of life. Yall don't understand. Like milwaukee is only 2 hours away from chicago. If chicago pays you $20 vs kaydoo ghetto mil town at $10, people may seek to make big bucks in chicago and live in an affordable city elsewhere.
For example. Pre pandemic, housing prices in my city goes for $260K for a 3 bedroom. The same size home in san jose goes for 900 to a million. So if your household income is 100k, you can pay it off in 2.6 years vs 10 years in san jose. Some people sold their over priced homes in the bay area for 1 mil and buys 3 houses in my city and lived like a king with 2 rental properties income and a nice home to booth. This is called retirement living for some folks. O0

Like they say man
You don’t need to mine the diamonds and gold
You can just sell shovels to the miner
$500k mortgage debt loan vs cheapo house debt and worry free

Who's buying a half a million dollar home?
I just make more so I can throw it on the stock market. You make less so you throw less on the stock market. More money to play like play dough. :2funny:

Can’t eat money
Can’t even bring that with you to the after life
We make less
But we own homes here in the midwest
-
Living in someone else's basement is not "own homes"..
And zero contribution to the household, just play COD 24/7 and leech off others....:idiot2:
-
Enjoy that $500k mortgage loan
One miss payment from foreclosure

yo man rocko, Amazon warehouse jobs starting pay is now 16 bucks/hour...but hard work is required...lol s some of my Amazon friends called me the other day thanking me for suggesting them to stay put...i told em, they don't know how lucky they are...my generation was thrown into the real world right in the middle of a economy downfall in the early 00's..said, I'll be back later this year..if they beat my records I set there--I will be back for sure I said...lols :2funny:
I won’t mind working for amazon warehouse
Better than $10/hour
But there ain’t any amazon near me
I think hard part is busting 40/week for $10/hour
Our work and rewards system is broken
Reward too much on education and position
-
Why worry about "$10/hour" when you can just win the lottery being the "hmong Nostradamus and is always right" and all?? ???
-
And here's the walking "contradictory" behavior that the neutral PH members pointed out :idiot2: ;D:
haven't bought anything off amazon in a long time
they make their worker pee in gator bottles
-
you always hear about these 8-10 football field Amazon buildings but you don't hear people talk about these smaller tennis court Amazon warehouses which can be located every few miles all over the country...lols They are hard to come by though, because people loved these smaller Amazon warehouse cus it's pretty much choose when you want to work...and a lot of people with already a primary job or career take up these positions for extra income...but asked around and you'll get it...go fishing one day, work the next..fishes are biting hard, change of plans don't want to work no more for the day, just used your paid time off or sick time...lols
I heard amazon makes their worker pee in gator bottle
Treat them like shyt
I can pee in a bottle
But poop???
I don’t know
-
don't know bout other Amazon facilities but the one I was at, it's nothing nightmarish like people say online, the media, or whatver..Amazo n has a policy for zero tolerance for Unprofessional Verbal something...Me aning the leaders there cannot raise or yell or scold at their workers..Unlik e many other places, voice raising and yelling is not recommended but not illegal..haha not only is that, you don't need to call a live person when calling in or calling off...they give you a certain set of Hours to use for those off days...or just to leave early...
but i don't know...I heard some things that Amazon use to practice but no longer do, due to people complaining..S uch as, if someone stole stuffs at Amazon, they will post up the ex-employee's photo on a screen for everyone to see...lols...a nother practice Amazon was notoriously known for was, delibrately setting up people to fail, so they can be terminated once the busy season was over and Amazon has way too many manpower for the workloads...
these were just some of the things I heard...I never witness them...I was too busy working fast and furious and they just loved me too much so I only saw the goods..haha
So the rumor are true
Sound like a toxic work environment righhhtt there
We are full grown man and adults
Some of us have kids and wife
Can’t be treating people like shyt
Don’t care if it just business
People still matter
-
Dude's never worked in his life as he just leech off others so he won't work even if Amazon is a nice place to work. He already got sheltered by living in others' basement and gets fed by taking advantage of them.
-
my point is, you can't really question a companie's practices or beliefs..if it feeds you, you just think about the paycheck...tak e nothing for granted..haha
haven't shop in amazon for a long time
i see yall hmong people be having amazon package everyday at your doorstep
;D ;D ;D
i ain't paying $120 or whatever they charging these days for membership fee
i can use that $120 for real food and stuff
-
man yo I know you be buying off from Amazon cus it's cheaper..you buy as a guest...lols
naw man
i buy from ebay
cheaper stuff there
can get free shipping too
-
