Title: Any new Hmong bands or singer's at Fresno New Year

I didn't get a chance to go to the Fresno New year this year.  I usually buy a couple of cds...

Anyone see any new Hmong bands/singers booths at the grounds or any albums you recommend for me? 

(Don't recommend any singers from Thailand or Laos unless they sing pop or rock!)

I only saw flashbak, ashley thao, destiny and maybe 2 other unknown new bands.  Nothing exciting, nothing that really stands out, nothing that draws a large crowd at their booth.  I think Hmong American Music is dying....

Bought one of Meena Thao CD.  I strongly recommended.

Most artists from thailand and laos will just kareoke a few of someone music and resell it. Nothing new

I saw her sing one of her song at the Sport Complex New Year in Fresno on the 2nd day that I went.  She walk off the stage and we got to chat with her a little because she know a friend of my husband.  I told Reporter it was Meena Thao and he told me it must be Mainou Thao.  At the end of the our debate I guess I was right and did hear her name correctly that she is from MN.

Summberry oh cool!  Did she sound good live?
