That's why it's so expensive in live in SF. The good year round temps (not too cold in the Winter, not too hot in the Summer) is one of the main factors why folks want to live there especially on the cooler side by the Golden Gate Bride. There's a few rare occasions where SF reaches triple degree but very rare.

So you're saying that you lied to yourself about "ignore" because you still foam very heavily from being proven wrong with facts i.e., "No land to build in the Bay Area"? Really? ;D
Lets see if this passage can help? ???:
"Why do so many people want to live in San Francisco?
One of the hottest cities in the country offers a booming economy, a lovely climate, world class dining and more. Courtesy of Thomas Hawk under a CC 4.0 license. It pretty much goes without saying that San Francisco is one of the most desired places to live in America right now."

It's a year round winter over here in the bay. Even during summer you still need to put on a sweater or a jacket.

I recorded with pix in sacramento, the roseville area to be 113 degrees. Highest temp I witnessed in my life.
No big deal to me as I don just shorts and suffered in the sun at 106 degrees. Once you survived it, your body will adjust. no big deal to me. bring it
