The shot on tv looks bad azz. They even called it a booster shot and to me, that's a big needle type that leave scars like them polio or measles vaccines.
Not even close. It felt like a flu shot. It has been 5 hours since my shot and I have to tell you, I don't feel a thing. One of my co worker, well she was dizzy but not sure if it was because of the shot or because she has high blood pressure, an already established underlying condition.
Anyways, I'm just telling you guys what it is and what it feels like. Why I took the shot? Well I can write a book about it but for short, I don't want to know what it feels like to get covid nor do I want to give covid to someone else, not knowing and then they suffer or worse yet, they may die. When you have a close person to your dear heart that dies of covid, it will change your whole perspective about this disease. I took the Moderna one and with just 1 dose, after 14 days, I should be good for 50%. After 28 days, I'm getting my 2nd dose and it will boast my confidence ratings up to 94% as forecast.
Feels rather good after knowing that I'm somewhat on pace for immunity. I'm not out in the wood works yet cuz there was a nurse in cali that took the vaccine and then caught covid. It takes time to sink on in folks. I'm still taking great measures to avoid people and until I get that 2nd dose, I can not let my guard down but I feel good now. Feels like a little weight has lifted off my shoulders. In regards to long term stuff, I'll wager and roll the dice on it. I don't care about long term, I mean why worry about long term if your short term is death? Worry about dying, worry about getting someone else infected and dying cuz of you or worse yet, get your own family members to catch it and die from it, all on your account. Does that make you a murderer even if you kill someone else and not knowing? Not on my watch. I can not live with myself if I know my causal is the reason why some poor soul is dead. You have a freaking conscious and it will eat you for the rest of your life.
Anyways, so yeah, don't ask me how I got the hook up or if I cheated by jumping levels cuz I'm not. If you feds are watching this, eff you too. All legal here baby. :2funny:

yep, I heard about you guy's case too. I don't know what that person was thinking. Maybe trying to sabotage the operation and throwing off the testing trial cuz I think us first guinea pigs are just that, still testing for stats to see if this vaccine still works or not. Yall heard about the case of the first guinea pigs for the polio vaccine? Same chit, there were complications and deaths involved and the fda took it offline to be studied even more before passing another vaccine.
In April 1955 more than 200 000 children in five Western and mid-Western USA states received a polio vaccine in which the process of inactivating the live virus proved to be defective. Within days there were reports of paralysis and within a month the first mass vaccination programme against polio had to be abandoned. I do know this for a fact though. Some nurses ( like your wife) can steal them flu vaccine and bring it home to get you and your family vaccinated. With this covid vaccine, they don't mess around though. A big batch goes to this one place and from there, further distribution to other facilities but by orders to match it up with them staffs roll call at said clinics. In this way, them nurses (like your wife) can not steal them and sell it for thousands at the black market or shooting you with it to protect yourself.
You will get your shots later on in the line so just lay low of human contacts and you will live to see that day. This vaccine is highly sort after right now. It is easier to buy biatch coin that is now sitting in the upper 20+k than to find a nearly impossible to get covid vaccine.

Well now my arm is sore at the point of entry. That is a given with any shots. Feels like sore muscle from a work out. That just means my muscle fiber is damage and my body is working to repair it.
I'm still looking for them other symptoms if any. A friend's wife is a nurse and she got hers. She said headaches so I'm looking for that as well or maybe it is just a woman's thing with pms and headaches involved at the end of the month. :2funny:

Here is the summary to what it may feel like when you get your shots. I'll list the most common.
1st shot
-your arms will be sore
-you may be tired and just wants to sleep
2nd shot
-your arms will hurt and not sore
-you will get chills and will have fever like symptoms for 3 days or less. Then as soon as it comes, it will go away really fast.
My hmong buddy's wife is an RN. She already gotten her 2nd shots and those were her symptoms. When I say common, I meant what she say when she said that all of her co workers all got the chills and were sick. This is why they don't shoot the whole employees worth and at the same time cuz no one left to work.
I rather get the fever like symptoms from taking the vaccine. Why? Well I will know that it is the vaccine working and not me catching the flu or covid type of flu symptoms.
I'm getting mine at the end of this month. Only 19 days in and I feel great. You guys know that feeling before this whole pandemic? We lost that freedom. It is the feeling of being alive and not living in fear or having anxiety. My first shot gave me that confidence to face another human being cuz I know I'm about 50% covered right now. 2nd dose will give me 94% but the whole idea is to get that freedom feeling back again instead of being on high alert about covid.
Once I get my 2nd shot, I can then plan my vacation. Hello MN, I missed ya that much :2funny:

Also, there is a fresh article that shows us that if you have this symptom, you may likely to be a higher risk of having a heavier case of covid. In other words, you may go to the hospital and you may die.

I got my 2nd shot and they were right. The following day, you may not want to go into work. It is that feeling of arm sore plus body chills like when you know you are going to get sick, body aches and pain feeling and you tell yourself, I am not going to get sick and you try to fight it off. yeah, it is that feeling folks.
You get that symptom of chills but yet, your body is still ok at 97 degrees for me. Other co-workers, a bunch of them called off sick and some had 104 degrees fever.
I do not have enough data to speculate but from what I have seen and noticed so far is that females are more likely to get a heavier dose than men. Maybe men are more sturdy I dunno. None of the men at my work stays home. They all came to work but non had that happy looking on their face as all suffered the ill effect. 1 guy could not pull through the whole shift so he went home.
As fast as it comes, I am feeling a tad better. It is like the vaccine is wearing off or something. Most will recover in 1 day instead of the 3 days speculation. I did mine on the exact 28th days which is thursday. Today is a friday. The other half of the staffs have taken theirs on a Friday so they can rest over the weekend. So if you are going to get your shots and are working, do it on any given Friday or the last day of your work week. Rest and recover and do it all over again.
I did not drop any aspirin pill as I am kind of experimenting with that ill feeling. Kind of niffy to feel weird once again. I got about 2 weeks till I'm 94% covered with Moderna vaccine so I just can not wait. Think I'm good for 2 years but with variants and mutation, that all might have to change. We shall see so yeah, educate your hmong people so they are prepared when it is their turn to face the vaccine.

I got my first shot 2 days ago, I requested it be on my left shoulder because I am right handed. So far, my arm is a little sore at the injection site, but nothing more. My second shot is scheduled for the 12th and I will update again.

I think I found the solution for the 2nd dose. They don't teaches you this and I kept on wondering how and why a few co workers are able to work like they hardly had any symptoms at all. As soon as I got home, I was still feeling it so I took a tylanol aspirin. Slept for 6 hours and felt like a new man.
It takes about 10 hours after the 2nd shot for the ill effect to take place so around that time, take your aspirin. It feels like the chills and pains are moving and that is a good thing because the vaccine is working. My chest was really tight and then after the chest was my shoulders. I also find that meditating or just sit your azz down in one spot and put your whole muscle on rest mode. Don't move a muscle while wearing a big jacket to warm yourself down do helps.
For 1 day to get the side reaction that goes away is better than catching covid and having to deal with covid after effect as it stays with you for who knows how long. Imagine coughing for the rest of your life from here on out. I just can not imagine.
Get your shots. Don't listen to what them people are saying cuz chances are that they are just as dumb as you are. The only person who can have a saying about the vaccine are expert or researcher in the fields. They have a medical degree to talk big about it so who the hell are you again to say that them vaccine are dangerous and what not? I got a co worker saying that she's gonna get her shots in a few years. I say good luck dodging covid and continue to live in fear or worst yet, catch covid and kill other people, without you knowing. I know hmong family who kids caught covid and they did not die but their parents did. Now how can you live with the rest of your life, knowing that you are the vessel for the germs to be carried and killed your own parents?
There is even a facebook support group for young widowers who spouses died of covid and left their young kids behind. It was my first case experiences into it that raises the bar for me. I still see this widow and all I wanted to do is to hug her and cry and yet, we can't even get close for comfort either.
I know a girl who was once a bursting full of life kind of a girl. Our text would be meaningful as we put more words into it. Deep and meaningful kind of text, you guys know the drill when you text a long one. Then covid hits her brother, dead at 38 and now, 1 word texting. Now that's mental illness and is jacking everything up.
So many other cases and outcomes out there and if only we know them all. Until next time, do your part.

Covid-19 vaccines prevent illness, but do not necessarily prevent infection. If someone tests positive and doesn't get sick, the vaccine has worked as intended. If someone tests positive within a few weeks of receiving the second dose, it may be because the vaccine hasn't yet fully kicked in.

Not the news I was looking for. Looks like the vaccine helps to save your own life but you can still get covid and can transmit to others?
The bottom line is that covid can live, just as long as no one goes to the ICU or dies from it. It then becomes like your common flu, something that is not necessary will kill you. Infect the whole world, as long as no one dies, I'm good with it.

You probably ended up waiting for a different vaccine that is still in the pipeline right now. Like johnson and johnson, 1 dose but 80s percentage effectiveness.
See, there is a reason why they did not tell any of us to pop them pills. Covid vaccine is to spike our immune system into a response but taking aspirin, that is kind of going against it wouldn't it? Thus why the latest news be telling us not to take aspirin prior to your shot but only do so afterwards.

Just got mine too. I feel good but my arm is sore. Thank god I got it on the less dominate arm or I will be in asking for help. If you can get the shot go for it.

There was a news a week or so ago about an elderly guy who got the covid vaccine shot and usually they make you sit around for 15 minutes for observation but the guy had an reaction so they took him to the hospital where he later died.
Investigation was underway to see if the vaccine was that dangerous.

You know what I was thinking?
There is a big market or an underground market of anti vaxxer out there. I get it that they don't want to get shot up but how can they travel to fly? The answer is easy. Buy covid 19 vaccination record card. You can just fill out your name and what kind of doses you supposedly taken and date it well and the you can show it to them airlines and you can fly just as pretty.
Ebay or underground darkweb be good. Big time jail time though.
Risky but I got a stack of them cards here on my desk. Dayam if you do and dayam if you don't. :2funny:
