Title: Looks like we're going back to compact trucks again to fill the void

Since all the former compact trucks such as the Tacoma, Frontier, Ranger, etc., are mid-size now, some manufactures are going back to the compact truck segment hoping to attract younger with less money buyers. For example the Santa Cruz and the Maverick:
