Perhaps it is a catholic school and with catholic mantra, they are more open minded to cultural-ism. 

Not too shabby as ND isn't a cup cake school.  I will be watching this kid this season.  Hope he does well...

Too bad he got injured... So, he's half Chinese and half American... We'll take that  >:D

Another Asian QB making an impact is Michigan State's 2nd string QD Noah Kim (100% Korean). He came into the game against Akron and threw two TDs (that was all he did, two passes with two TDs) while the starting QB threw 2 INTs  O0

If you really want to be specific... all these countries are considered Asia.

Eastern part of Russia, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Yemen.

However, these countries are also classified as Western Asia, Central Asia, Southern Asia, Eastern Asia, Southeastern Asia, and Northern Asia.

In American, when people used the term Asian, they mostly understand it as Eastern Asia and Southeastern Asia... e.g. China, Japan, Korea (N & S) and all of Southeast Asia countries.
