We actually live 6 hours from the CMA church here in PA.  The closest one to us is the Akron, OH church.  I don't believe I know her… I recall a girl by the name of Youa Chang… but not sure what she went into.
Regarding Hmongvillage… I actually met XF W. there for the first time.  At one point we were talking about marriages and wedding, XF Wayne promised that when I get married, he would do my wedding… of course, as God would have it… my wedding took place 2.5 hours from them, so he did officiate my wedding for me… which was very nice.  After Hmongvillage, I met him and his wife a few times… then since I married my husband, we see them at least once or twice a year.  Are you related to them?

I know his wife back in southern CA when they lived in Orange and LA county.  I don't remember how they met but I just remember seeing XF. W. at Hlub camp and somehow they got married after she graduated high school and then she moved to  GA because I think he wasn't done with school but after they both were done they went to KS and then another state to be a Pastor for a non-Hmong church and now they are back in KS probably making it home.  She was just in CA in July to host her sister baby shower but I didn't see her but my sisters and my mom was there.

That Chang girl.... I don't really recalled her Hmong name but it either PaFoua or PaChoua because I only go by her nickname.  She's pretty short with big b........ She actually lived in Warren........ . But you know when you're married you have less contact and you don't really keep in touch just hi and bye....... I didn't know that an old friend of mine from Santa Ana CMA church grew up with her back when her family first lived in Warren, MI and then moved to Orange County.  She came to visited her one summer in CA a few year ago and saw my picture in her album.

I believe that more grad schools offer online classes now but it depends on what you really want out of school.  Some people hate online classes some people love them.  It depends on what kind of learner you are.  In the end when it comes to higher education like grad school where the subject matter is more concentrated you will want to attend a school that has a great reputation for academics.  I don't see the use of paying that much money for an education where you taught yourself the subject matter.  Then again different people have different reasons why they get their degrees.  Some people do it for the money, some for the knowledge and so on and so forth.  It's just my opinion that you should go to a school with great faculty and staff.  Then again my opinion means nothing!

It's great to get your degree in theology though.  If you can do it by all means go for it.  You can never go wrong learning about God!  As far as an online degree from one of the major seminaries (ie: Talbot, Moody, Gordon Conwell, Trinity, Fuller, Dallas, etc.) I don't think they offer a purely online degree.  All the best with it!

From my own experience taking online courses....... it just take up too much time to focus and concentrate that I'm better off in a classroom.

Preferrably one that I can do online.  Otherwise there is a good Christian University here, Gannon University, Erie PA.  Any suggestions?

Is your husband the pastor of a CMA church there in PA?  I think one of my niece lived around Ephrata or something.   When you went to Wayne University in Michigan do you know a Chang girl that got her BS in Nursing there?  She's a friend of mine that we met way back online before I got married and even after I got married we still kept in touch for over 10 year and she moved out to CA 2 year ago so last year during Sacramento New Year I finally ran into her for the first time but didn't get to talk or hang out.  I see you post in HmongVillage so you must know W. Yang and his wife?

It hard to read from the list but I see a few names that I know and then there are some that I want to check up on because thier Ph.D or advanced degree is just from a correspondence school which I never look at thier degree as accrediated or what they can do with it in the real world even though they still prefer to be called Doctor.
