Title: Don't You Hate It When You Can't Find The Song?
Post by: Believe_N_Me on April 13, 2012, 02:59:37 PM: So I was at Barnes and Noble and this AWESOME song starts playing in the store. Sounds kind of like Annie Lennox or Florence and The Machine and there's a hook that goes something like:

...it rains again...
...when it rains...

But I couldn't make out the lyrics because of the noise distractions. I wanted to stop one of the employees and ask but didn't.

Anyways, came home to research and all I could come up with was Paramore's "When It Rains" but I know that's not it!

Ugh!

That's happened to me too! I liked this song called "Clumsy". Turns out it was by Fergie!

The songs I'd like are very old...New Wave stuff from the 80's. I don't even know enough of the songs to write the lyrics down.

Yeah.. I heard that tune before.. could you give me a little more so I can narrow it down from the 400 or so songs that have that tune.. :2funny:

Unfortunately, the search has gone cold because I didn't put any more energy to finding it. The style is similar to Annie Lennox (but not Eurythmic's "Here Comes the Rain Again") or Florence and the Machine. The tempo is upbeat but definitely not trance. Maybe I'll hear it at Barnes and Noble again.
