If Yileng is the translangual of Yelang then No Yileng isn't Hmong. Just like King Sonom isn't Hmong either. Just misinterpret. Just like Txiv Yawg is misinterpret as Chi You. Txiv Yawg is broad term like Yawg Kooj.

Txiv/Twxv Yawg is 子元. Chi You is 蚩尤. Chi You is argue to be the same as Tao Tie. Tao Tie is believe to be descendant of Jin Yun. Jin Yun in Hmong is Dlaab Ntxw Nyoog or GuiJinYun. It is mispronounce and mistranslated to Txiv Yawg. Same as Gongyuan 公元 or YawgKooj meaning Ancestor, time of our ancestor or beginning of Common Era.

Google TaoTie and ChiYou and you will see similarities and also Google Jin Yun. It fits Hmong Oral Tradition. Sis Yis, FabTim HuabTais, YaajTim HuabTais and Ntxw Nyoog. This can translate as HouYi, Huangdi, Yangdi, and JinYun. It's nothing more than recollection of stories put together.
