I only make $10/hour
Your $1k-2k rent will kill me
I will be in the hole every single month
Those $1.25 (they change the price) loaf of bread at DOLLARTREE
PLUS. mustard
That will probably be my meal every single day if i live in California

Can’t even go outside during the day

MN is not low cost anymore. But it’s like my boss said. Sure, it’s expensive here but when we travel, everything looks cheap to us.

Get yourself a nice place for $100k
Pay it off in 5-10 years
STRESS FREE LIVING
everything is just cheaper here

My senior co worker just dropped her 2 weeks notice after working here for who knows how long. The great resignation at play? Perhaps but her plan is to move to the east coast where she and her other siblings, all 8 of them, still alive and they would buy a big property and built a big house so they all can live in one giant multi room building.
She's talking about selling her million dollar home here to buy a multi million dollars complex over there with her siblings.
This french speaking kaydoo is on another level.

It just means my bankroll grows faster and when I go to wisconsin state like yours, I'll be feeling like I'm going to a third world country where my money, if used there are bigger than life. In other words, I can flash my money to your wife or to your hmong women over there and they be like, hot spender and that's how the west was won. O0

Your $10/hr, you can eat 10 items. My $100/hr, I can eat also 10 items but have 90 left to eat for another day. O0

The concept is simple. I make money in an area where they throw more money at me but I spend that money in an area where they pay you $10/hr

Another way to look at it in an investment and retirement concept.
for example and bad math
At $10/hr, it would take me lets say 10 years to reach my retirement goal of 1 million dollars
with $100/hr, it will take me 1 year
With more money to play with, you can then have that extra cash for them investment portfolio O0

Maybe you are only referring to only one gas station in all of US since no s at the end of gas station but if you are referencing everywhere, you needed to add an s at the end of gas station. Gas stations and fast food everywhere.
