A man's partner wants him to pay her between $50,000–$100,000 in order for her to have their child.

I am [M34] and my wife is [F29]. She has asked me to pay her almost $50,000 to have our child, and I'm not quite sure what to do. "She wants me to pay her...to compensate her for the loss of her salary."

She doesn't know how much he'd be paying in raising the child and supporting her for the rest of their lives. It's more than 50K.
