Ua cas yuav cob xub ua luaj li! :love7: :love7: :love7: :love4: :love4: :love10: :love10: :love10: This video doesn't show him. It is just him singing a duet with Yasmi.
!!!HE IS AN OFFICIAL HOT DAD!!! Kudos to his wife!!!
I'm happy that there are super handsome men like this guy representing the Hmong. Hmong girls don't have to drool over those super hot Korean and Chinese actors when handsome Hmong men like this exist.
Tus yam ntxwv los ntxim nyiam ua luaj li thiab. I love that he speaks Hmong so fluently and dayem, that Green Hmong is so deev deev siab.
-
I know, I know.
NO PIC, NO CARE.
-
But it isn't all that hard to find a pic of this handsome Hmong man floating around.
-
I tell you. Yasmi has attracted some of the hottest hunks around. I have no doubt this voice comes with a most handsome look to it.
-
He is super handsome. More handsome than the other ones for sure. I'm not familiar with Korean actors but my girls say he gives off Taecyoung vibes.

Oh you meant my nephew Prensly Lee... Yes he's cute :P :P :P He has good genes, mom is beautiful and he looks just like a younger version of his dad.

I'm sure his parents are good looking since he is so handsome.
I just recently got into those C-dramas and K-dramas. Wanted to know what all the buzz was about. Obviously, it is about the hot looking actors. :love10: I almost don't care for the storylines. Just keep that handsome face onscreen for as long as possible.
We were discussing whether Hmong movies will get to that level. I think we can find beautiful actresses but we do not have super handsome Hmong men starring in these movies to keep the women drooling.
Well Prensly could hold a candle next to some of them Asian actors.
Zoo nraug kawg! O0 O0 O0 O0 O0

Not sure why it doesn’t work for you. Try again and see. Or else send it to me and I’ll post it.

Cov niag tsov tom tub Hmoob Lis no yeej cob xub.

Kav tsij pab nyiam, peb thiaj muaj phab ej coob.
-
If we had more Prensly Lee's running around then we would not need to drool over Cha Eun Woon.
-
In a decade or so, we'll have lots of him and his matches. The OGs are breeding those with these mos ab hotties and younglings from Laos.
-
So that is the legacy that these OGs are leaving behind, eh?
-
Yes.
-
Is it still a thing where OGs go marry young brides from oversea?
Es koj ne? Siab tsis qaug rau lawv cov nkauj teb chaws los tsuas lod?
-
OGs are still flocking there.
Kuv tsis nyiam mos ab es.
Es koj puas nyiam nraug mos ab ma?
-
Nraug mos ab khuam kev xwb os.
I don't know why but I've always been attracted to older men. :dontknow: That must make me the nkauj mos ab. O0

Those guys wanted to be treated instead of treating their women.
Your look qualifies you as that.
-
Nowadays, I see younger men marrying overseas. Those girls don't have to settle for grandpas anymore to bring them to the USA. In the past, it seemed our young, Americanized Hmong men were still unsure if a Lao girl would be compatible. But these days, those Thai, Lao, and Vietnamese Hmong girl look way more progressive than even American-Hmong girls.
-
Young women, too, are looking overseas for grooms. The youngest I have helped bring a groom over is 18. She married a guy from Laos who's 26. Both are very compatible in looks.
I've seen young people go overseas for brides and grooms, too. They go for looks more.
There's a touch of romance that those overseas have that we lack.
True, the grandpas and grandmas are going to to resort to other OGs around the US soon.
-
When I was a teen nobody wanted to date an MTT. But I have seen the boys from TT these days and some of them are very attractive. They keep themselves looking nice, unlike many of the young, single guys in America.
-
When you don't have enough nutrition, you are not going to grow fat at all.
But we have too much nutrition in America.

They also have a different lifestyle that keeps them thin.
Have you visited the Hmong in Thailand? Some appear to be doing very well for themselves.
-
True. When one labors harder, one stays more fit. I know that. I grew up on a farm. Now and then I still finding axing some logs very fun to do.
I was in Thailand in 1998 and toured two Hmong villages there. They are more stable than those in Laos because they did not suffer warfare the way we did. We had to abandon things and they were just building into their fifth or sixth generations already. But they are still backward and lacking most modern resources. Some live in thatches without electricity in the houses. Many have blended into the Thai community--some become Thais in Bangkok and you don't know them to be Hmong anymore.
-
I have noticed many of them speaking only Thai. Many of the comments under Youtube vids from Hmong Thai are all written in Thai.
-
Right. Some have jumped from writing and speaking Thai to English but never learn Hmong.
With our new image in America and Sunisa's climb to the top of the world, they are now turning back to some of those villages.
-
Who is turning back to the villages?
-
Some business people.
-
On Youtube I see a lot of westerners flocking to areas with Hmong. I recently watched a guy have a jungle experience with the Hmong.
-
Our language and people are very beautiful.
-
Yes they are. When they wear Hmong clothes they all look beautiful and handsome. Even those white Mormon guys look so handsome in Hmong clothes.
-
Right.
Soon, that might be all that we have left, no traditions but the language and clothing.
-
Even the clothes have been evolving. Really beautiful, too.
-
We are more aware of fashion now, especially the number of articles on a body. Fewer now.

They're a lot easier to put on. Unlike back then. When I attended Fresno New Year as a teen, there were 5 girls to dress. We had to wake up at 4am so that our mothers could properly fix our Hmong clothes. They couldn't get my cousin's turban right and my aunt got so mad at her head. ;D
-
Yeah.
Plus, those layers of extra sashes made you girls look so fat.
-
Yeah.
Plus, those layers of extra sashes made you girls look so fat.
The layers kept us warm in the cold. O0
But it also depended on how you wrap them, and not to use too much. The silver necklace was super heavy but we had to wear them for the entire day.
-
The Karen people of Thailand and we Hmong love heavy necklaces. We think it's a sign of
wealth. But, actually, it slowly creates health problems for the wearers' necks.
-
I wouldn't recommend wearing it everyday. That's for sure.
-
Costumes are for New Year celebrations and weddings only. Oh, yeah, and for picture times.
-
Es koj ne? Koj puas nyiam hnav roos tsho Hmoob thiab os?
Back then our clothes were handmade by our mom and by our own hands. The better the outfit, the more love from mom. Nowadays, we just buy it. No sentimental value to it at all.
Puas muaj leej twg xaws ris tsho Hmoob rau koj hnav na?
-
Kuv nyiam mas. Lub ris mas xoob thuav, tsis nruj, tsis rub qhov twg. Zoo mus kev kawg.
Kuv niam xaws tau ib ce rau kuv mas. Kuv hnav mus nram tsiab peb caug ib zaug. Tseem khaws cia nraim seb puas yuav hnav dua lwm zaus lawm. Tsis hnav los cia ua puav pheej tias yog niam xaws no os. Tab sis laus zog lawm es twb tsis tshua phim tsoos hluas nraug lawm ne.

Back then you can tell the regional group that boys and girls were from based on their clothes. Parents didn't like us to wear clothes that weren't our region, except for daim tiab Hmoob leeg. I know some parents who only wanted their sons to ball toss with girls from their region so they looked out for the Hmong clothes.
-
True on the regional identification s.
Elders believed, and many still do, that it's an easier wedding and easier relationship if there aren't too many differences between the clans and the couples. A daughter-in-law already knows the daily activities of the in-laws and, so, there's not much discipline or screaming or uncomfortable silent treatments needed around the house.

Some mother-in-laws are definitely very strict about who their sons court. Es koj mom ne? Is she willing to give you up to just any woman?
Koj mom nyiam tus nyab zoo li cas?
-
My mom is very open to anyone to take her son as a groom. She's more worried about me not finding anyone than restricting me to any particular group. I had a few dates that seemed promising and she never cautioned me about any of them.
Kuv niam nyiam tus nyab uas txawj hwm nws thiab nws tus tub li wb yuav hwm tus nyab ntawd. Ua ab tsi los txhob cais cais nws; hos nws ua ab tsi los nws tsis cais tus nyab. Yus ho cais nws los nws thab hais li cas li thiab. Nws hais tias nyias muaj nyias cwj pwm es tsuav yus ob tug sib hlub tau no xwb. Yog tus tub tsis txawj hlub tus nyab ces nws cem tus tub; hos yog tus nyab tsis hlub tus tub ces nws kav liam xwb. Nws tsis nrog tus nyab sib cav sib ceg ab tsi.
Puas muaj cov nyab ua tau li ne yom? Peb cov ntxhais Hmoob tam sim no ces tsis tshua xis cov laus lawm.

If you marry a Hmong son then you have to accept that his parents come with the package. I disagree with those who try to live apart and say they will take in parents when they're old. By then you wouldn't have bonded and trust me, if you don't want them when they were young, you won't want them when they're old. Better to be used to each other's habits, I say.
Your mom probably has a lot of sons to feel that way about her nyabs.
-
She has 3 nyabs right now. A fourth one soon, if I can hook one.
It is true that Hmong sons come with parents.
-
We have an aunt who has 9 sons. She tells me that 9 sons with 9 wives are a lot of drama. She has to do the loving more than the other way around since muaj muaj kev sib khib.
-
The nyabs are coming from different clans and regions. Now, you know why the elders want their sons to stick to local girls for nyabs.

True.
-
Many of our people still need to learn how to get along, regardless of what our regions are.
-
I hope that it's getting better. It seems like it.
-
It is.
-
Cov laus pais kawg lawg tas lawm ces tsis muaj cov khoo tej tub ntxhais nruj nruj lawm. A lot of young people nowadays don't know what region their family is from. Those who do not speak Hmong do not even know if they are white or green Hmong.
-
Yet they have this nationalistic attitude.
-
Azian Pryde?
-
Yes. And some times wrongfully as thugs with that kind of attitude.
