New Zealand became the first country to banned single used plastic produce bag at grocery stores on July 2023. As of 2021, eight U.S. states — California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New York, Oregon and Vermont — had passed laws that prohibited stores from providing single-use plastic shopping bags.
Hmm... let me get this straight, I can't get plastic bags for my groceries but almost everything I buy come protected in plastic (either plastic wraps or tubs) and I have to use plastic bag for my fresh veggies. I can buy individually packed veggie in plastic wrap or tubs also. Not only that but all the meat comes packaged in Styrofoam(plastic) trays etc etc :idiot2: :idiot2:
This is as insane as those toxic paper straws people are sipping with or Climate activists using fossil fuel products to make their protest signs, shirts, etc. etc.
Again, the Leftie brain thinking at play here.

Stores in my hometown still providing plastic bag to customers.

There is one state not listed in your response where the retail stores don't supply plastic bags either. You have to bring your own bag(s). I noticed that a lot of shoppers just wheel their cart to the car and throw the stuff into the trunk.

Same insanity as green energy (wind farm and solar): They just don't tell you that the waste from these turbine, blades, solar cell ends up in landfills all over the US. My states have acres of graveyards for them.
