Get them taxes file if you haven't done so.  I'm feeling nervous as I'm heading back to my CPA office tomorrow to do what they call an amend tax filing.  It is when you make changes to your previous year(s) filing in hoping to better your position when it comes to your tax paying or tax refund.

I think up to 4 years back you can file.  Not sure since them laws are changing without you noticing it.  I always do my own taxes and with it, comes either errors or short coming because instead of owing the irs tax, the irs owes me instead.  No cheat style though.  Homie don't play that.

I went to the cpa last week and his website shows the long form only costing about $200 but somehow this guy totals me about $375 with insurance.  Kind of hefty right?  Well I no care because I'm getting big bucks back and my CPA can take it out of my tax refund.  I can't disclose how much I'm getting but he did something alright.  For the first time in a long time, I'm getting a return and it is history in the making because the refund is super larger than life.  How big?  It is like I have a couple of kids big with them child tax credit and you know how big it is already.  My other hmong friend who is younger than me and already has like 8 kids and a wife to file.  Now that's a rich guy comes stimulus or tax time.

Why don't you just do it yourself with Turbo Tax? I've been using it for the longest time. This year, I'm going to owe big time 5K+ to fed and 1K+ to state...

I did mine every year myself and obviously, I'm no cpa.  This time around, I let a cpa to take a crack at it while I watch how he does it and now I know how.

Tomorrow will be the amend style and with that, I too will be watching how he does it and which form is needed.

I consider it as paying for education.  To see how it is done and I'll do it better next time.

There goes this guy in the neighborhood who does it for all SSI recipients.  Yes, with the right form, they too can get a refund about $1100 or so.  He does it for free but he knows when their their checks are coming by plugging their SS# into the dot.gov website.  Once you get your money, he calls you and the deal is to pay him $300.  Lots of folks bail out on him upon getting their money and there is nothing he can do about it.  He's not even a CPA and by law, I think a representative can file your tax for you.  It just the charging part is what makes it illegal.  Asian business to business kind of a thing.  He has a customer base with listing for miles.  Those who stiffed him the previous year, if they ever show up the following year, he will biatch at them good like he never forget.  I say easily $40k right there per season for the guy as a side hustle.  That's only 133 clients and that is nothing if you are living in a dense asian population.  The guy is smart though.  I took my uncle once and upon the signing part, he bends the tax form down to hide his form.  He doesn't want the public to know what he's doing because it is a lucrative business for him and he doesn't want any competition.

How do you even know if you are actually maximizing your refund capabilities?   If you think you are going to pay 5K back but the right CPA who does it the legit way and adding other deductions that your software can not do and instead of paying 5K, you get 5K.   If a guy can do this for me and he charges me $500, lets do it.

I've been doing it myself for years and I never see a return.  I payed tax every year.  This year, I got help and I got the biggest return ever and it felt like I just rob the bank or something.  All legit though because the guy only add what proof or receipt that I gave him.  I even bought insurance just in case the irs auditing me, he's liable and not I.

Not all CPA or tax software are the same.  The right guy can get you the most out of your return or at least you pay lesser.  The right guy can get you more than needed by doing the cheating way too.  I know another guy that maps your return to another guy who has a failing business.  In this way, more deduction can be added but this route, he will tell you ahead of time that it is a 50/50 split on that return.

Everyone has that guy.  Hmoobrock can be that guy since he say he is an accountant.   :2funny:

I pay a lot every year, not looking forward to tax season. Guess you can say I rather pay taxes than getting refunds.

I didn't get much back.  Thank goodness.  The goal every year is to get zero and pay zero.

The real villain is looking at you.  The last hero was just not true.  If everything works out in the end.  It's because all things make amends.

Whooops  forgot again...oh wells.

You still have time.  Monday the 18th is the last day to file.

Or get an extension to buy more time.

Looks like my income tax refund will come in 21 days.  Gotta wait 21 whole freaking days?  I hope this is not working days cuz it will stretch through May.  Free money and I have a Vegas trip at the end of May too.  Free money to blow in Vegas for your boy's birthday.  Friend said he's gonna get me a kaydoo.  I said for him to get himself a kaydoo.  I'm at the age where I gotta start respecting myself.  No payed services for me, no matter how free or how pretty she is.  I hunt alone and I eat alone, thank you very much.

You don’t need to itemized
You just take the standard deduction $12k+ Single
And $25k+ Married

Unless you run like a business and it’s failing hard

It is really hard to itemized $12k+
Unless you are just super rich and have massive losses

Lol  ;D ;D ;D

The common average joe, stand deduction is enough already

Hope that helps
