I kind of doubt that. I checked at the end of September. Pork prices were $1/lb if not higher. Cattle was about $1000 a head and higher. This was within a 45 mile radius and did not include any processing fee. I agree it may well be a supply issue, since everywhere I checked, it was not uncommon to be told I was 6-9 months out for what I wanted and needed.
I've bout pork and cattle all year, prices haven't changed despite the seasons.It's been roughly $1/lb and $1000.00 a head all year. I'm not saying you're lying, but no farmer is selling livestock at those prices.
Over a year late and definitely prices have gone up with the feds printing money. Rocky needs to google inflation.
