Senate Bill 14, sponsored by Sen. Shannon Grove (GOP), would make sex trafficking of a minor into a serious crime.

The Senates passed the bill unanimously but the Democrats on the Assembly Public Safety Committee voted NO... (Sorry... I have to state the facts here: the committee is made up of 2 GOP and 6 Dems: both GOP voted 'YES' and the 6 Dems abstained from voting - which, technically means 'NO' on the bill)

However, after much pressure from the public and Newsom (knowing this could propel his standing) saw the outrage and backlashed, decided to put his backing behind the bill)... the committee is revisiting the bill. Assembly Appropriations Committee, where Jones-Sawyer said he will ask for amendments to make sure victims of child trafficking are not penalized and that the legislation doesn’t disproportiona tely affect people of color.

So now, the punishment will be base on skin color again? Why would anyone penalized the victims when the bill has nothing in there about penalizing the victims. And this should not even be about race... I don't care if majority of these crimes are committed by Black, Asian, Latinos, etc etc They all deserved to be locked up for life.

This is why the Leftie/Demmie hate 'Sound of Freedom' so much... it sheds light into the horrors of child-sex trafficking and they don't want the masses to know about it.
