Birthday Surprises

Hubby is turning 37 soon. Thinking of surprising hubby with a family style seafood dinner at an Asian restaurant and bowling/golfing with his close friends. Have your birthday surprise for your SO ever backfired?

Aww, that is so sweet. Although, his surprise didn't quite turn out the way he might wanted, it still worked out great.

I laid the groundwork for the surprise...tex ted hubby that since he does not plan on working this weekend, can we go eat for my cousin's bday.

I'm doing one right now for her. Had to get a temp credit card to reserve a couple of spots because we share everything...s o if I use my (our) credit cards, it won't be much of a surprise...

And oh yeah, my lifelong girlfriend aka wife is also turning "37"...
