...on my pool pump. The bearings were going out so if I just replace the bearings, it'll be about 50 bucks but will cost me more time disassembling it and re-assembling it. Taking the age of the old pump into consideration, I decided to go with a new more efficient pump that cost about $400 but will take less time to just swap it with the old pump. Obviously the new pump is new so the prognosis also looks better:
