Back in the 80s and early 90s, this was my go to taco truck. Located on Charter Way (MLK Blvd now) across from my bank then (Bank of America). It was convenient because I live in the projects called Conway Homes near by for a few years during that era.



Last time I ate there, my all meat carne asada burrito was 5 bucks, it's $11.25 now:





Well, this is new, taco truck drive-thru restaurant in the same parking lot:

What works for me is I ordered my all meat burrito with hot sauce (red) in it and then asked for a side cup of mild sauce (green) to dip it and that combo of sauces work best for me.  O0

I remembered my first burrito in Cali; costed 2.95. Taste and portion were spot on. Those were the good ole days.

Yep, good size burrito for the money and taste way better than the White washed ones at Taco Hell..errr..I mean Bell.. ;D

My favorite taco shop in the Bay Area is Taqueria San Jose in San Rafael...on 4th Street.  O0:
