I am the author of my life. 

Things seem like they could really come together so I am more hopeful.  I've been rather patient the last few days.  The ocean is calm and I am hoping it stays that way.  Staying away from people isn't so bad.  Definitely different, but not bad at all.  Spring is around the corner and the weather has been warming up.  The last couple days have been really nice.  I think it's time to head to the beach.

Yesterday, she was walking down the halls, smiling, holding a basket of tootsie rolls, cracking jokes, and hugging me.. today, she's laying in a bed, barely breathing, eyes shut, not the way I remember her.  I'm not sure she can even hear me, but the nurse says hearing is the last sense to go, so I talk to her.. tell her how much I miss her and how things just aren't the same.. how she needs to come back cos the kids miss her and I hate doing her job.. and how thankful I am to have had her be a part of my life.  I am going to miss her so much...

Why must we make things so complicated.  As if things weren't complicated enough already.  Why would you want to make things ten times harder?  Things can be so simple.. so easy.. why all the trouble.  I sure don't need it.  If you don't want it, just leave it alone and go on your way.  Perhaps there's something better for you elsewhere.

2 days off in one week.  Haven't done that in a long time.  Getting things done makes me feel better.  I see the shit list getting shorter.

Checked out the volleyball tournament at CNHS.

Took a nap.

Had dinner with a friend for her birthday.

Feeling optomistic today...

The one thing I absolutely love about this time of the year is the nice weather AND the flowers that line the highways/freeway.  I was driving alongside the freeway and the orange and yellow wildflowers are just amazing.  I really wish they stuck around longer because they sure make my drive more enjoyable.  I wish I had picture to share.  Perhaps tomorrow.     The weather's been nice, a little chilly but nice.  I can't wait to wear my open toe heels and sandals.  Time to get a pedicure!

Since spring is just a couple weeks away, I decided to clean out my closet.  Instead of tossing out my unwanted clothes, I'll donate them to some needy families again.  They're still in good condition.  There's a few things I've only worn once or twice.  What a waste of money!  ahh!  After going thru my rack, I realized my spring wardrobe sucks!  I need to do some shopping..    

Anywho.. I have a lot of work to do

So last night was quite interesting.. met up with a few people, took a couple numbers, had a few drinks, and I was ready to call it a night. it was just my luck to be around a violent drunk.   so, since we couldn't convince him to chill and not drive, I decided to leave and then he threw his phone at my car!!  So I was so pissed!  Left him with his/my friend, and drove off.   Well, got home and knocked out and got sick.. again.  I've been sick for a week now.
