No thanks. I have friends who can take me. I'm not looking for anyone in here to take me out. :)

On the bright side... I finally tuned my boat/engine setup to a point where I am happy... i'm around 2.5 to 2.75 below pad.  Yesterday morning (calm waters) I nearly did 72mph with a 200lb partner and I in boat. If I ride solo, I'm estimating 73-75mph top speed!  8)

Hole-shot kicks arse too! Fine tuned my electronics too... loving everything now.

Next on my list is to repair some fiber class damages/scratches before winter... would love to have an 1197 on the console and put the 997si at the bow! Would be a dream come true!

Also... Rick and Will... how come a bunch of folks at tournies (including you guys perhaps) have super high rooster tails? Everyone.. even pro's always say your rooster tail should never be higher than the engine cowling (if tuned right obviously)... they say anything higher than engine cowling is just losing hp...

u should have seen the rooster tail on mine before my jackplate.  at full trim i could probably hit birds flying!  ;D  I have mine set now and it looks like its set correctly as it shoots just over my cowl and water psi is good and rpm looks correct and speed is as fast as it can go.  ;)    Jason get that 1197, so I know where i can find one when I need to borrow one.   ;D

Rick and Jason, lets have a meet on Prior this weekend, goal is to hit all the hmoob thoj spots and move fish, or cook em!  ;D

cowl height rooster only applies at max rpm n speed. that's where mine is.

vmax hpdi likes to run high so a higher tail is a must.
