powerpole is next on the shopping list.......... ...

Someday I'll have those. Do you plan on getting only one or two? I think if you get one, you'll might as well purchase two - its worth the trouble.

i'll try one first, i think it's enough to hold unless it's 2' waves....... then in that case i wouldn't be fishing that beat up shoreline anyways.

I believe those will run you for $1000-1500 after you put everything together (mounting bracket, poles, setup, etc). Just save $3k and get two. :D

I wonder if you just have one power pole, will the boat swing around if there's current and/or wind???

Yes it will... that's why I'm telling rick and them to go the extra yard and get two right off the back. If you get one and it's windy, it'll swing the boat around so you'll still need to be on the trolling motor to keep your spot still.

trolling motor up front, PP in rear and your golden.

PP in rear, 30lbs anchor up front...no movement whatsoever!   ;D

Started working on my boat this weekend. Changed out lower unit grease, cleaned out oil/gas filter, took out spark plugs. This weekend I'll install the recessed trolling motor tray. pix to come.

lol agreed. The one that looks best in my opinion is the comfortroll tray. That's the one I'm getting. Its a little spendy (about $140) but it looks like it came from the factory.

I got mine from tacklewarehous e with free shipping since it's over $50 bucks. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Comfortroll/descpage-COMFTR.html
