what does the interlink do?  does it allow you to have the chart plotter up from on the trolling screen or somthing?

Interlink allows your graph at the console and bow to share GPS coordinates. Basicaly, any way points, info, etc, it'll allow you to see it on both graphs. So if I'm scanning an area, anything I mark down as a waypoint at the console will show up at the bow... makes life so much easier.

jason, your going to have fun with that interlink thing.  If it works its going to work great!  If it doesn't its going to be a headache, constant freezing up on the units.  btw, i didn't make it out on the river over the weekend, went out on the small streams and my back is still aching!

Yeah I do see a lot of folks biatch and moan about it on the bbc boards. Sh!t, I hope i'm not adding more headache as I already biatch about the interference issues at the bow.

Did it ever work on your buddies boat? Flawlessly? Or did it keep freezing up? The most complains I see are people keep having to restart the units or re-seat the connections cuz it'll freeze up or cause their units to power down, etc.
