i got a 14 foot jon boat with a 15 hp mariner and a 101lb thrust trolling motor.  max with 15 hp is 18mph and max with trolling motor is 5 mph gps.  i would fish with hbc if i live closer to the twin cities.  and i wouldnt mind jimmy's idea if it was closer to my area.

All veterans is sporting 225's with the exception of 200 for dan n 150 for enosey. Me n cy rn't veterans btw, I've only fished hbc for 5yrs while the others have for 8yrs+.

It's cool either way jimmy, I like ur goal n opportunity for beginners to have a stepping stone.

I'm thinking about it but it depends on what the wallet says. :( If not, I'll prob just go "pike" fishing at the local lakes.. hehehe.

You are fishing the tourney next week right?

I'm going into dental surgery next Wednesday  -- depending on my co-pay amount, I might not be doing the next few tournaments. Pretty upset but ya gotta choose a tooth over a few tournies.  :'(

Yellow ranger has a good chance if their holes are still productive. Sounds like they got Redwing dialed down pretty good.

Went back there today. Very slow... only caught a few bass.. there was a bass tourney there too. Some water temps got up to mid-60s. I think Red Wing is safer than Wabasha. I did have more bites on Senko than anything else. Back to basics hehehe.
