I spent Saturday in RW.  All i got was a burn  O0.  Burned a bunch of fuel and went down to Lake City.  It was an interesting boat ride.  Caught 1 smallie all day, main channel and didn't even boat it.  ;D Smacked a log in 2fow, lots of debris some big logs too! Rough day on the water.  There are no Largemouth on the Mississippi!  >:(

Weird... I caught a total of 5 large mouth on Redwing yesterday... I wanted to find smallies but didn't get enough time to work rocks on the main channel. I wonder where Yellow ranger found his 19+ bag of smallies in redwing... I'm guessing the north end of peppin?..

Shallow. Both sides. It's mentally tough cuz you had to convince your mind there was a fish there.

found fish? yeah like 1 small fish that's separated a mile apart... lol.

I've ran from north of pepin down to wabasha last year while prefishing. Didn't take me long... when the water is calm and I'm doing over 70+ across the stretch, i can get there in less than 15 mins.. hehe. But I have no plans on heading down to wabasha. With my luck, the wind will kick up to 25+ mph as soon as I make it to Wabasha.  :-\

I know.. thank goodness for spinner-baits right? I hate using senkos anyway, that's torture.  ;D (I did land a pretty nice northern in about 8ft of water afterwards.  O0 )
