Rick and Jason......... ......New PowerPole??   O0

Less expensive than Power Pole
Mfg by a well known Mfg
Includes Remote
No Pumps-Less work when installing
Will be out in September
I have a buddy that pro-staff for MinnKota and will be receiving one, an alternative that I would say is better than Power Pole!

Get em!!!!!!  Rick get 3!   ;D

I didn't do any docks. I just fished a flat. I was limited on my boat transportation

don't let nascar see which docks you fish, he might not know how to fish it but throw dynamite at it instead.   :2funny:

Zebra mussel confirmed in tonka...... crystal clear water soon to follow ;D

Some of the lakes in Cal are so afraid of them that they have daily inspection on boats getting into the lake.  As long as the boat is wet, you cant launch, even from the morning dew.  They check live well, hull, and even tell you to lower you engine to see if any water is coming out before you're able to launch.  It sucks but at the same time understandable, I guess........

 O0

Stopped by the shop last night.  Block is at the machine shop, the parts are IN!!!!!   :)  Searching for a new crank.

bad crank, all it takes is one of the journals to go bad

Scored 3/4 of the way around

a small chunk of the Intake Manifold gone

See the c-clip on the piston?  Well that's suppose to hold the wrist pin that holds rod to piston.  Looks like I figured out what all the racket was about at WOT and full trim  ;D

Slug vs Rod  ;D

Part of the problem with Mercury is that they use a plastic sleeve on the rod bearing, WTF! (needle bearings are held in place by plastic sleeve)  The shop ordered new bearings and they are not plastic.   O0  Shop also ordered a new sleeve for the block and the rods and pistons.   O0  I also spent some time in a Legend Alpha 211, the fit and finish is unbelievable, I thought the seats were fugly (from pictures) -up close and personal they are nice and comfy, better than Ranger or Skeeter!    ;D    :)

I hope none you go through what I have went through, it sucks.   O0

I'm not sure what the newer mercs are using for internal parts, i'm saying buy what ever you like.  I would suggest doing a compression test after each season as preemptive maintenance, its better to catch it early and save the block, rods, pistons or crankshaft.  And never ever let the resivior tank get air bubbles in it, keep the it full!   O0

ETEC's!   :2funny:  Dude those are worse........

Etecs are quiet but they are great for blowing powerheads, worse than Yami or Mercs.  Also they are very expensive to run, xd100 @ $50-$60 a gallon.   >:(  And they are still using the old rubber hubs.  HBC guys that run Rudes, will never throw a rooster tail like Merc and Yami guys.   ;D  Rude+Rooster tail=blown hubs.  O0
