Last tourney for us this year this weekend.

Still debating on the HBC Classic...no time to prefish it...

the west walleye fishing is about to come!!!!  No bow hunting this year for me, walleyes, ducks and rats!  

damn Jimmy, wish I could have fished one of your events-no time this year! Great job on running the club and i'm sure next year it will be even better!!!!  If I still have a boat next year i'll be attending!  

Come on guys, everyone's has to fish the classic!  One last time before its a long 6months!

My boat is out of commission. Engine finally seized up on me..

Not sure.. Was driving then all of a sudden the engine started knocking. I shut it off then turned it back on and nothing. It seized. From what I've been reading, it sounds like the oil pump failed for the remote oil fill.

that sounds just like what happened to mine.    Good Luck with it!

If anyone needs any maintenance done on their outboard, stop in or call Simply Fishing/Extreme Marine in Wyoming.  Bill is the mechanic, he works on everything and he does great work!     What would have cost 7k for me was done at half with a warranty better than a full reman power head.  Bill does great work and he's willing to work with you as a customer.

i think I might need a new outboard

dude, you know it. Repower is the way to go. Go with a 4 stroke. Never have to deal with choking, carbs, gunk, etc again.

That's a chunk of change, get it rebuilt.  More bang for the buck!

I found some used / rebuilt ones for about 2800 still ... ouch

uh, but your motor is bigger and more advanced then my little 40..

advanced?? if so advanced it wouldn't have given out at 296hrs, ran a scan its been over rev'd for almost 20secs, everything else was good.......... ....... Frikn outboards!
