Yay! installed the ram mount for my Trolling motor today... holy shit I shoulda done this 2 years ago!!! The trolling motor is locked down! No more trolling motor bouncing in rough water!!!

it's customized... i had "formula marine" (shop that's down the block from me) order it for me and thread a 1/4 hole in the ball mount that goes on the trolling motor. It's an awesome idea. Skeet Reese has this setup too. It costed me around 50ish bucks for the ram mount. If you want one too let me know, i can have the shop guy order one and pre-drill the hole in the ball mount. Otherwise you can check it out for yourself on Saturday morning.

lol no... we use the existing 1/4 hole on your maxxum for the ball. The only drillings will be the thread that goes into the (ram) ball mount and the mounting of the ram mount onto your deck. make sense?

I honestly don't know since the shop guy ordered it for me and told me how to do it. Maybe you can tell what size if you see it. I still have the box for the ram mount at home... i can check the box too.
