I'm a beginner fishermen.... need some tips for bass fishing.  I have no idea what lure/bait to use for them.... i just purchase live bait such as night crawlers.  Do those cheap lures that comes with tackle boxes any good?  I mean can you catch fishes with those?

Need to make use of my fishing license,  only been out there a few times since acquiring it.  Any tips would be appreciated.
