And knowing we have the Lake Menomin tourney in two weeks, that's going to be right around the same price too... $300+ dollars..... and I'll be doing the tonka classic too.. that's another $350... shit, I think i need to sell everything and find a cheaper hobby.

Been calling around for motors. the 40-70 range is hard to find. I won't know yet til next week on the motor situation

Engine Seized. Oil Pump failed, thus, not pumping oil to the engine. Engine seized due to lack of lubrication

Rebuild = $1700.00
New motor, well, 1990 70hp Johnson = $1700 installed
So, anywhere between 1700- 5500 is what I've been quoted for new, used, rebuilt etc.

damn!  I'd look at a Suzuki or Yamaha than....

you check with Twin City Outboard?

I got a quote for a 2005 new suzuki 2 stroke 50hp remote steer etc for 5500 installed.
I called Twin City, they don't have any. I called a few other shops but can't really do anything until I have the money in hand 

i would think if you check with a few of the local small guys i'm sure they would have something around that is reasonable. 

check these guys out......they usually have a good selection
