I root for all three of you guys!!! Serious! Its a new lake, new water so the playing field is pretty much, almost, kinda of even, minus the experience and adaptation skills. ;D I'm sure you guys will do well.

I'm leaving to FL for Ocean fishing this weekend. Maybe do some peacock bass and snook fishing too. I'll take pictures, if I catch anything. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!

I honestly believe you will needs 20lbs to even have a shot at winning. 16-18lbs aint gonna cut it because that'll be the avg weight everyone else is gonna bring in.

Unless one knows the lake well enough to make its predictions, anything is possible. Anyone have any info? What are the local angler's average weight?

True and I agree, but the word is, someone pulled near 20lbs during prefishing and that person has fished this lake numerous times.

The locals pull a avg winning bag of 13lbs 5 fish before the no cull was removed. But now, people can cull so 20lbs is the mark to hit.

Someone always brings in a decent bag....

My prediction with the weather we have on saturday is 18lbs to win and 16.5 for second place...with the big fish being 4.82lbs....LOL

MN has a no cull rule too but people don't care. I bet many anglers in small local tournaments don't even follow these rules. You're right, 20lbs will take it but my guess based on the average weight with or w/o no cull rule is going to be between 15-17.  My 2nd guess is between 0lbs - 30lbs to win it. <--Any bets on this one?

MN's no cull rule only applies when you're "one" fish from your limit or have met your limit. So long as you have 2 less than your limit, you can cull in MN. But in WI, you can't cull regardless if you have anywhere from one to a limit. Until now and only now.... but it only applies to bass tournaments, regular fishermen still can't cull from what i remember reading.

Anyways, I'm pretty certain someone will bring in a 20lbs bag.
