Aha, the biggest factor was "spot". Sounds like everyone found the same hot spot and was sharing fish while Ric had the other hot spot all to himself. lol

sure looks like it.. More time on the water equals more spots.. time start pre-fishing more

What's the lesson learned..... prefish more, get a faster boat and draw early. That sounds easy enough O0

Blabla, u left early? Phocy, for someone who said they only caught 1 during prefishing, u did pretty good. Gotta watch out for u.

Nice to meet all u guys after a long winter. It was great being out n competing. See u guys at the next tourny.

i sucked it up and dnw.  it was either you are on fish or not.  I guess that is part of fishing. Time on the water does make a huge difference.  Congrats to all the winners and Photo for picking up his limit.  O0

biggest factor is time on the water, especially for the spawn.  Some guys have time all week to practice, while other have the weekend and you pound the crap out of spots.  But there is a learning curve to it all.  O0

Time on the water is the biggest factor. Those who were in the money prefished the most. If you came in with a limit on this lake you were in the money. Looks like we will just need to prefish more. Next HBC tourney for us is July 22nd on Tonka.

Did any of your bass tournament fishermen target smallies over the weekend for the tournament? Just wondering cos it sounds like everyone was going after LMB.

We tried targeting them but they were no where to be found...

Between the lg and sm, unless you can find the big sm, lg is the way to go. Inch for inch, a lg is thicker and will weigh more.

Wachu talking about, a lg is thicker than a sm inch for inch. Now if your thinking fight, inch for inch, sm got lg beat.

I would say 95% of anglers in MN target LG. Even in tourneys at lakes like Mille lacs and vermilion...it's the green ones that win it.
