In real life though..I have a deep V boat with a fat ass and a 140hp suzuki...with a bait well not live well. 2 anchors, x135 that works sometimes, and my hand slapping the water to mimic dying baitfish...and 2 overweight partners crossing my lines....

I asked Peter and Nhia when I saw them fishing the Denny's tourney - they said no skeeter FX21's floating around.. the guy was probably full of it or maybe he didn't sign up in time. He should just do HBC or TCHB...
Until you guys see him show up to fish either HBC or TCHB, he's all bark and no bite. Because seriously though, who buys a $50k+ bass boat and not fish a tournament? I can see guys who buy cheaper(in price) bass boats for personal fishing but the guy that bought a $50k+ FX21/250SHO and not fish a single tournament.

All bark...... No bite!!!!!!!

Question for you bass fanantics...

What do you guys recommend when targeting deeper bass (8ft+) in open water with very little structure?

 ???

If they are active, just throw deeper cranks. If they are not as active, slow down with soft plastics. just jig or drag it along the bottom.

I sometimes use a 1oz jig to bounce along the bottom..u can fish pretty fast and cover lots of water like that.
