To encourage more women to get out there....one of these many tournaments should be co-ed only.  That would be interesting.

Medicine was tough on us. Our spots did not produce at all. Couldn't find a pattern or fish. We did manage to get 7 junk fishing with a total weight of 12#.

1st- 21# with big bass of over 5#

The guy who won didn't catch bedding fish. He caught post spawn fish. We saw where he fished and he was far away from the 10 plus boats fishing for bedding fish. I don't how the other 2 boats fished but we didn't bed fish at all. The beds we found in practice were in 8feet of water. Their was a boat was sitting on the spot we wanted to fish because that is where we predicted they would go after spawning. We saw one bed fish that 4 different boats tried to catch...LOL none succeded...LOL

Needless to say...I predicted over 20lbs to win it and I knew we had no chance one 1:00 came around. Just have to work harder on the Croix I guess.

Jimmy.. I was having problems with bedding fish too and could not get them to bit til about 9:00am.
How I got them to bite..  I sat about 7 ft from their bed and dropshotted in their bed with a little white dropshot tube suspended over their bed. After 10 minutes, they get pissed and would just bite it, even if they can see me hovering over them  ;D

How many bed fish did you catch? I wouldn't have wanted to spend all day catching 4 bed fish if those were your 4 fish.

2 of my fish was bed fish, 1 was not. 2 fish weighed 3lbs 8oz, the other was 3lbs 2oz.

We only brought in 6 fish with a weight of 12lbs some odd ounces go figured what my two partners caught.  :'( They are incredibly new to bass fishing, they don't even own a jig. My goal is to turning them into hardcore bass guys by the end of the season.

We should partner up for the Croix

Regardless, these guys are my partner so win or lose I'm gonna support them. However, if they cannot make it, I'll let you know.

No idea but they should have a good bag b/c there's hardly any pressure up there. I only know one meeka club that fishes that chain of lake and its only about one or twice they fish it per season.
