You wanna be the 3rd person, you need to tell him in an assertiveness way like "I wanna be the 3rd person on the team " not " can I be the 3rd person in your team "

I'm just a beginner.  I have no right to demand anything.

Demand? It's more like stepping up to volunteer. Even if he says no, because you volunteered, it'll be on the back of his mind knowing so. The squeaky wheel get the oil.

The Croix is a huge fishery...3 events in 3 weeks = nothing

HBC = 18lbs for winning bag

TCHB = 18lbs (Guestimate)

J4th = 20lbs (Guestimate)

TCBL = 18lbs (Guestimate)

doesn't really matter... as long as you guys split the cost of tourney fee + gas then it should be game on.

Well just got off of the phone with Hudson Parks and Rec....

The Hudson Launch as of this morning is closed. I will call them again Friday to confirm but as of right now it's closed and water is up to the parking lot.

I really don't want to launch at the Bluffs. That's a long haul for anyone who is fishing up North...

My guestimates:

HBC = 18lbs for winning bag

TCHB = 22lbs (Guestimate)

J4th = 22lbs (Guestimate)

TCBL = 20lbs (Guestimate)

I'm putting all in the 20lbs+ because that's the big bag from HBC, even though that bag wasn't weighed.

my boat, top speed = 30mph. To go from the Bluffs to northern part of St.Croix + no wake zones = 1 hour each way.

The beer & drunkeness will shorten that time in half.

Oh just an FYI:

Yesterday after the storm came through we went out to D3/\/\0/\/7R!\/!I_I_3. I so love that lake! Threw a crank for about 4 hours and just killed em! At one point I threw out my KVD 1.5 and got a birds nest...crank was ontop of the water and a bass hit it...fixed Bird's nest and set the hook and bam! 3lber...LOL..I t was a fun night...Bumc and my other buddy was with and they did well to on jigs/senkos. Super Fun lake! It is also a C&R lake. We caught quite a few 3's and lots of 2's and tons of smaller fish. At one point we got a triple which was quite funny. Buddy caught a fish on weightless Senko...1 second later Bumc Catches one on a jig and 2 seconds later I caught one a crank.

Also caught a few pikes...

If you need a boost in confidence...t his is the lake you need to go to...Super fun for 4 hours of fishing....

If you want boost in confidence, go fish White Bear Lake or St. Croix. That's the truth.
