you know what sucked...

We get up to hudson and we head over to that little bridge after the hudson launch to go under it to get to the other bay...and it took us like 20 minutes to idle over there.....and then when we got there we were like duck! We can't make it underneath the bridge....LOL Had to go around and waste another 20 minutes...

Ur boat is too fat to make it through there.. Mine only had like 2ft clearance on each side.

Jimmy's talking about the first bridge... where the two guys kept fishing on top and u didn't want to hit their fishing line from beneath.

Yeah that bridge...

I always thought that the bridge Fly is talking about is off limits cause it would be considered WI inland waters.

No. Thats not off limites because it's the back waters of the St.Croix. If you look at the map, its still on the St.Croix river. Inland water is the Lake that empties to the back waters. I shore fished there alot when I didn't have my boat and the wardens come there alot ot check anglers

Well regardless... I was too scared to even attempt to get back into there. LOL

Heard it was the hot spot a few weeks back...must have gotten pounded pretty hard for it not to produce this past weekend.

I'm just saying...when people say they caught them here or there that's when others outside of the club start saying cheating or tied up fish...or there's no largies on the st croix...that's how negativity starts...just like a few years back when the Khang Bros slaughtered everyone else with that huge bag of largies...ever yone said they cheated..no way could a tourney be won with largies...now that spot gets hammered day in and day out...

There were 4 boats in the same area as the winning team...we were one of them. 2nd place team was in the same area. We all caught fish. they just got the green ones and we got the brown ones.
Oh come on jimmy, there ain't no largies on the croix. Finding largies on the croix is like finding a needle in a haystack. LOL!!!!!

I had fun at whitebear though.

St.Croix is up another 6-12 inches from Saturday.

It's starting to recede...I'm guessing by Friday it will be at about 681.5ft
