Looks like majority vote is for Minnetonka. I personally think the St. Croix would be better. Lakes are harder to catch lg vs rivers where the sm are on fire right now.

Good luck! I'm done for the year. This time of the year is spending time with my wife and kids. Taking the kids out to the apple orchard and pumpkin hunting. Good luck fishing all.

Those who like St. Croix, surely they'll have a pick up for it too.

There's just too much to do with so little time: bow hunting, duck hunting, geese hunting, squirrel hunting, pheasant hunting, dove hunting, musky fishing, bass fishing, whitebass fishing, river salmon/trout fishing, etc.

Decision, decisions.  :D ;D

Good luck to those fishing the St. Croix this Sat. It's gonna be cold and slow bite. Aim for the A.S. King Power Plant warm water discharge and bait concentration. Last year Enosey brought in two 5lbs largies and a few 3lb's for a 19lbs bag with 5fish fishing the warm water discharge while Ric targeted bait concentration in coves and bays and brought in a 5lbs and 4lbs smallie and a mix of 2lbs and 3lbs for a 16lbs bag of 5 fish.

The fish are still biting!!!!!  I've switched from lakes to rivers.  The smallies are sluggish right now, water temps are in the mid 40's.

The reason why some meeka are so good at bass fishing. Look how young they start 'em at. Watch how good this kid casts bc and setting the hook. For his age, impressive. Fudge, he even knows how to give some line to reduce stress on the rod.

Most Hmong kids his age plays WOW, WII, COD, etc.... :'(
