Trouble, I agree with RW on the power suits!  I like that you added the nautical stripes; it adds interest to the cream suit. 

RW, I like your pleated skirt and you wear it well.  As much as I love pleated skirts, it doesn't favor my curvaceous figure.    I like that you added gold necklace to the outfit.  I think gold goes so well with most colors.  I especially love it with black or dark colors. 
Also like your dark on dark outfit with the drop pearl earrings.

thanks, ladies.  i don't know about power but the professions that we are in, we need/like to dress this way.

i like both outfits.  i can see myself wearing each of those pieces but i doubt the pleated skirt would look very good on me.  pleats and i do not go hand in hand.  heheheh....

how about creating a nice outfit under $50 (excluding shoes/accessories)?  this could be very challenging... .even for me.  hehehe....   
OR
remixing your outfit?  create two totally different outfits but there has to be one piece of clothing that is used for both.
