Hey ladies...y'all still looking good and fashionable, I see!  I'm going through all the posts from last week and just catching up. 
 
I've been dressing up more than I've ever had in the summer months, but just don't have time to take any pictures.  And I guess not in the mood to mess with the pics anymore.  Today, I'm wearing a new crop pants from NY&co. I love it... it's fabric blend of cotton, polyester and spandex, just enough to give it a little stretch.  It's sooo comfortable, and feels very relaxed, but still very dressy.

anyway, on that note, I've been browsing through the usual shops (express, jcrew, ny&co, etc) and I am kinda not feeling the latest trends.  Maybe I'm not in the mood to shop so nothing is speaking to me! I went from stores to stores and I ended up buying this one crop pants.  Boring.  My daughter has since given up on me... went into express and they have these glittery tank tops and dresses and she was so excited because she was sure I would actually buy something.  But, nope, I said I didn't like anything and we left...she doesn't want to go shopping with me anymore.  Poor kid!

Wish I have your strength, Thajyeeb.... I always seem to find something I like.  I am loving the hi-lo tops I see at the stores now... only some will fit right though, so I am carefully selecting them.

Lol my strength at resisting the urge to buy?    yeah... it's foreign to me too.   It's weird, I really want to spend, but when I get to the stores, I don't want to spend and it gets depressing when nothing is speaking to me!

I'm not liking the hi-lo tops at all... they always make me look short and cut in half for some reason. must be my perception of myself...
 
I wanted to like some tunics that I saw, but they're all ugly!!!  *sigh*  I'll wait another few weeks, maybe this feeling will go away and can shop til I drop again!

I like it, HPA.  So, do you work from home or in an office?  If office, do you keep the jacket and tie on the side until you need it or do you walk in with it on and then take if off once you get there?

it's been hot here lately so this was an outfit i wore:



during the day i wore flats then changed to heels for the evening - express tube top, gap shorts, necklace gifted, macy's earrings/bracelet, prada sunglasses, coach flats then mk pumps.

trouble - that's cute! but i couldn't wear shorts or a skirt that is that short to work. i've been wanting to wear my dresses to work bc of the heat but the dresses are a bit shorter than i'd like to wear into the office.

super user and RW, i guess i should have clarified that it was an outfit i wore during the weekend, not that day.  hehehe....  i could never wear that to work, i'd get sent home.      my department is very professional so i'm usually in a suit.
