LL, too bad you don't have your camera but it's nice to hear what you're wearing.   O0

I am the only one at work today, so I decided to dress in something that would cheer me up.

1.  Dana Buchman black leather moto jacket.
2.  Lace Tunic
3.  Ann Talyor black and white cardigan (this doesn't show, just for warmth).
3.  Vintage flora maxi skirt.
4.  Born knee-hi black riding boots.

My outfit is similar to this...

but my skirt is bright and colorful like this...

1.  The Limited black pencil skirt.
2.  Very Vera blue empire waist shirt.
3.  Blue Wilson Leather jacket (like the orange one above), but got wet in the rain, so I changed into my brown Laundary lace leather blazer.
4.  BORN black knee-hi boots
5.  Blue multi-color scarf, but saw my reflection in the mirror and realized that it was one item too much, so took it off.

I found the red version of my favorite black moto jacket in the photos above.  To say that I am ecstatic is an understatement .  It's still a little bit cold, so I am all layered up again.

1.  Red Dana Buchman leather jacket
2.  Black Limited pants
3.  Long Sleeve thermal shirt
4.  Simply Vera black ruffle blouse
5.  Beige sweater vest
6.  Born Oxford Heels

Aye aye, Captain, I like it.  That's how I like to wear my jeans too, with conservative blouses.  I wish we have casual fridays.

Thursday - January 9, 2014

I had a big presentation this day, to roughly 25 people so I wanted to wear something nice but serious.  I wanted something a little edgy, so instead of wearing traditional delicate pearls or diamonds, I opted for long layered necklaces.  I liked the overall look.  It was enough to keep me happy, but subtle enough that no one noticed.

1.  Tahari grey and black dress.
2.  Ellen Tracy Black Double Breasted Jacket - looks much like my trusty interview blazer.  So happy to have found this.
3.  Gold sandals from Ninewest, scored for $10.
4.  Silver unicorn pendant long necklace
5.  Silver horse pendant long necklace
6.  Diamond stud earrings.  I was going to wear my small Hmong earrings, it was simply too  much.  I think when it comes to work outfits, the saying that after you have put everything on, taken off ONE thing is a good rule.
