Yes. It's been awhile. Hopefully warm weather will be here soon so I can break out the sandals and skirts and share some spring wear.

Pinkie, normally, I would be terrified of these two colors together... but I liked the flirtiness of the skirt and the structure of the jacket.  I felt very free and adventurous in this outfit.

I'm loving the new casual option for work. But is this too casual?

I love open toe heels. And no, they don't hurt. Maybe your sister has big toes?

I used to think that this style of sweater is dressy, but it is not.  I bought one and wore it to work only once b/c it was way too casual.

I think I agree with you. The distressed jeans plus the loose top is a bit casual.

The sweater is very thin, very loose. I'll try the sweater with black leggings and heels next time and accessorize it.

Since we went casual, I've been very surprised at what other people view as casual. I see sneakers now! And this used to be a business attire dress code environment!

Here is another hybrid outfit that I wore to speak at a women's function.

1.  Yellow BCBG Lace dress
2.  1020 by Nicole blue leather jacket
3.  Hmong money belt
4.  BORN flora shoes.  I forgot what color I wore... be it the yellow, blue, or hot pink one.  I am thinking it was the hot pink one.

Ok, I definitely cannot pull off that look. Too bold for me. And I can't accessories with Hmong jewelry/pieces even though I love Hmong clothes. It's one of those things where I can't mix old and new.

But Lionness, you match it and you wear it well!

I do like bright colors for anything outside of work, but I din't realize just how bright they are until I have seen them in photos.  Lol.

LL, I like your outfits and you eat die in fashion.  I like the outer wear you had on and is that a Hmong outer coat?  You are a beautiful Hmong woman and thanks for sharing.

Thank you.  I had to think about the "eat die" phrase.  Lol.  Yes, it is a Hmong Chinese jacket.  I figured that the Scotts would be in their traditional clothing, so I might as well go in mine.
