For those of you who hates Windows but are forced to learn VB and C#, now you can on Linux or Mac OS X. You just need the Mono runtime and mono develop software.

if you are force to developed in .net, might as well run a vm with windows cause mono has it's limitations in dev work. It is best to developed in the environment that your target app is in but it is a good alternative for older .net framework dev.

True, I was thinking about those who want to toy around with VB and C# language and not the UI or any of Windows library.
