No wonder there's a spike in crime- related activities as of late. I heard it from a good source that  it is because most of the police are patrolling in here instead of doing what they are supposed to be doing and that is ensuring the safety of the civilians in the outside world.

I hate the legal system. It gives bad parents too much rights.

The HNY is almost here....so excited!  Heading out to the Hmong market with the fambam to look for some Hmong clothes for the rest of the crew.  We'll be rockin this year!

Sometimes I find myself having fake conversations with people.

My dumpling lady always talks to me in the morning, but I have no idea what she's saying for the most part. I know she is asking me questions, but I never know how to respond so I just smile and laugh awkwardly sometimes. I don't think she's caught on yet. It's too late to tell her I'm a foreigner now.

The Thai restaurant always gives us a ton of chopsticks because we order a lot of dishes. What they don't know is, it's just the two of us.
