I've been Debating on rooting my phone and been doing alot of research and would like some personally opinion from peeps.

if you have rooted your Phone please describe your personal experience.  was it worth,  for WIFI tethering, Apps2Sd, flashing rom etc...   May be the time you took to research and if you brick you phone and had to get a new one.

tethering is great since it allows you to work anywhere.  Apps2SD is even greater; allows me to install hella hella apps.

Rooted:
Moto Droid
oc @ 1.25ghz
running blackdroid rom 1.0 or 10.0

Rooted:
Moto DroidX
running stock with apex rom

you won't regret it.

Root is a must...well at least for me. it's always a plus to have full control.

it's funny how people who ask the most questions are the ones who don't bother reading lol.

Yes, I rooted her phone.

lol .. alright got it.

Okay can I apply different ROM and delete some/ keep some? Say if one of them has a feature I want, but I don't want all. Or install multiple and they won't over ride one another?

Each rom is package with different apps so you cannot delete some and keep some.  You can only use/install 1 rom per device and then you choose to keep and add whatever you want (apps, games etc). My advice is to try them all and see what you like and don't like.  Keep the one you like.

Rooted:
Droid 1
OC to 800Ghz running ultimate droid 1.0 on some other network (not verizon)

Rooted:
HTC Eris
OC to 760 running Kaos Froyo rom V38 on Verizon

if I were you I would just see what's out there besides outsidethebox rom.  Some of the other roms might be better than his rom.

idk.. you lost me there but i recommend you installing ROM manager if you are rooted. from there you can backup of flash a new ROM (os) to you phone on the fly.
