Brothers’ Cried, Mothers’ Tears

Today I saw one of my brothers’ pass away and his family does not know
He wasn’t sick nor does he have an ailment that caused him to go
Tomorrow we will all look back at this day, but tomorrow for him, no life
My brother I didn’t know well enough, but today my BROTHERS’ CRIED

After what happened, I just sat disillusioned at the realism of lost of life
I wondered if he had a son, a daughter, I wonder if he left behind a wife
As I hold onto my rifle, knowing this is the only thing protecting me here
Home, some people hate us being out, here, the people shoot what they fear

Maybe tomorrow another one of my brothers will go, tomorrow maybe me
For in a place where we are out of place, still we fight for our loving country
While I hold his hand, he asks for the lord’s forgiveness for sins in his life
As my other hand pulls the trigger to save his tears as my BROTHER’S CRIED
