Happy New Year
Wishing the best for all loved one's far and near
So many memories that come and go
So many words said with yesses and noes
Old habits die and new ones picked up
Old love letters kept and old love letters being cut
Things to look forward towards come the 1st
Like a man in need of water because of his thirst
Tonight we go to sleep tossing our habits away
Tomorrow we wake to a fresh new start or what may
We may cry today because we've losted a loved one
But we will laugh tomorrow because they are not truelly gone
We will think back to yester years and laugh silently
Because they will always be in my most wonderous memories
So happy new year to me
For another best friend we will seek
