some days I cry in my sleep

how cruel life is for my fate

tears streaking down my cheeks

pain in my heart like a very bad date

no one can know my emotions

when i just want to scream and shout

even when love's devotion

tries to comfort me all about

I let the tears try to wash away my pain

I hold onto hope and that silverlining

I don't answer when death whisper's my name

and I hold onto life because I keep on believing
