I was going down memory lane the other night and realized how short life is.  For a moment in time, I was crushing on Jet Li's smile, Jacky Chan's confidence, Donnie Yen's no-shadow kicks, Chow Yun Fat's charm, admired Bridget Lin's roles, laughed at Chandler Bing's jokes, chuckled at Ross' hopeless romantic side and humor,  -and now all these stars are in their 50s.  Instantaneousl y, life is at a stand still.  How will I live the next 20 years of my life?  It will fly by quickly.

Lord, I pray for your wisdom, courage, and strength to push through each day- until the day I am with you.

First of all, I want to apologize to a friend.  I've not been a good companion lately due to my circumstance.  It has been a habit to deal with my personal issues on my own- with God.  I had to face one of the biggest challenge this year and know I had to do it alone.  It's not easy but some times I have to do it my own way. 

I find comfort in this verse, "But if any of you lack wisdom, you should pray to God, who will give it to you; because God gives generously and graciously to all."  James 1:5

My grandma is 91 yrs old and one of her favorite hobbies is coloring.  I introduced her to paint this past winter and she's enjoying it so much.  She hides her markers, paint, and coloring books from the grand children because she said they will mess up her pages.

Speaking of “wrong guys,” here are the top 10 men you should avoid when looking for a husband:

1. The unbeliever. Please write 2 Corinthians 6:14 on a Post-it note and tack it on your computer at work. It says, “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (NASB). This is not an outdated religious rule. It is the Word of God for you today.

Don’t allow a man’s charm, looks or financial success (or his willingness to go to church with you) push you to compromise what you know is right. “Missionary dating” is never a wise strategy. If the guy is not a born-again Christian, scratch him off your list. He’s not right for you. I’ve yet to meet a Christian woman who didn’t regret marrying an unbeliever.

Gonna try this recipe some time.

The stuffing:

Mix thoroughly the following:
Clear thin Rice Vermicelli noodles
Ground Pork
Cilantro and Green Onions (a touch of shredded carrots, just enough to give a little color)
Plenty of Ginger (don't be shy, this is what makes my family's eggrolls the best)
Season with: Salt, black pepper, MSG, Seasoning Sauce, soy sauce


The Wrap:

Clear Rice paper wrap (The kind you typically make Spring Rolls with)


Deep fry til the wrap is nice and crispy and place in bowl with paper towls to cool.
