I suddenly remember a cheater saying that, it doesn't matter if you are poor, but if you are poor in spirit and have no kind words for your wife and S/O, and a Mexican comes along and tells her how beautiful she is, you will lose.  Therefore always have kind words for your wife and S/O, even when you have nothing or is already irritated by the situation. Kind words will save you from making a situation worse and losing someone who will only use them temporarily.

Don't get me wrong, many of them cannot be saved, but the advice is for those that can be saved.

A mexican? LOL I believed in kind words. I hope to find a s/o where we will always speak kind words to eachother. Opened up to eachother. Help eachother grow. I don't ever want to hear another bad words from my s/o. I understand that sometimes we will get upset and lashed out with unkind words but I will bite my tongue before I ever cursed him with words that I could never take back.

Those were his words.  I was just conveying the lesson.  However, I get the impression that he is the Mexican, himself as well.  He sounds too good.

It is still my lesson to learn, but if she had been good, then I would feel more the pain of failure.

When I was watching the movie "Interstellar" and the main character was shown a blotch on the screen.  He immediately said,"That's a worm hole."  I am thinking dude, "you have never seen a worm hole before, why would you say that."

Care to explain this line for me. Why would it be a failure on your part?

I didn't say failure, but a lesson to learn.  Too many times, we blame others and miss out on our chances for internal growth.

The last time I felt so lucky to be with my ex-wife was when we went to a French restaurant in Dallas and she had on a flowery dress.  Whatever I suggested, except for dinner, she willingly complied making it seem like I was the luckiest man in the world.  Don't worry, she was amazing looking.
